L reg Turbo MX-6 For sale! With free KLZE!

Thats right im finished with the MX6\Probe scene for good now. Ive completed my dreams with this car and its time to move on. I just purchased a car in the US and im picking it up at the end of may.

MOT until Dec 07 SORN at the moment since Ive been installing the turbo kit. Ive put on less that 2k since the MOT.

Exterior: Black and very shiny. SRT-4 intercooler protrudes from the bumper, Jap spec headlights, tailights, and spoiler. 17in. Allesio rims that still need to be re-installed. Debadged on boot and has a 92 series diamond emblem on the bonnet. Minor rust starting on the sunroof.

Interior: Brown leather in PERFECT condition, no rips but some VERY minor wear on the driver seat. Has narrow band A/F Guage, Oil PSI, and Boost/Vac Guage. Aluminum kick plates as well.

Motor: Stock KLDE currently in. OBX header manifolds, Ludespeed Up-pipe and Down pipe, SRT-4 intercooler, Greddy BOV, Tial wastegate set at .5 bar and manual boost controller, KLZE intake manifold, Garret 60 trim turbo currently awaiting a T3 upgrade (in the mail) 9MM plug wires and iridium plugs, Magnaflow exhaust, Decat. Car comes with OEM cat for MOT. THIS CAR COMES WITH A FREE KLZE IN PERFECT RUNNING CONDITION.[/b]

Transmission
: Completely stock

Fuel management: 270CC mazda millenia type S injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, AFPR, And built up megasquirt 2 PCB v3 . Megasquirt still needs to be installed and tuned with a wideband on a dyno or street tuned.

Suspension:
OEM springs and struts. I have a set of Arospeed Coil overs that come with the car. Theyll need coil over struts to be installed properly. I had them on the struts that are in now, but they tried to fail me on the MOT for it  . Front and rear strut bars as well.

What you get with the car: Like i said, youll get the car, KLZE, Coilovers, and my box of different odds and ends. Mostly sensors and what not.

Heres some pics from last year and with the turbo mocked in running a hot air setup. I have no pics of the intercooler installed... sorry guys

No turbo yet!

NOTE: OEM shift knob and Short shifter have since been installed. and in this pic there are no guages

The rust on the boot has been fixed, there is no rust.

^motor is very dirty.. needs a cleaning.

As far as i know, this is the ONLY turbo mx6 in the UK. I know there is one other Teal turbo probe. He is on UKPOC.co.uk i believe, I met him last year at japfest. Ive spent over 2 grand on the turbo kit. The car is very VERY VERY fast and has looks to kill. Has less than 5 miles since turbo install, the headers are still breaking in and getting its discoloring still. Ive driven it only 7K since i owned it, but i cant be spending all this money on this car that in the long run i wont be able to keep. Im ready to move onto v8s and this is the ONLY reason im selling. This is one of THE best examples of the Mx-6 that I've personally seen. If anyone wants to look at it, they're are welcome especially the ones who live really close to me. I'm going to America from May 22nd through June 19th. Id like to sell it before i leave, but im not in any rush. Joyrides welcome as well

-Justin

PS i can take more detailed pics for serious buyers...

Update Video of me missing gears lol and boosting about 2-3 PSI.. Im guessing i have a leak somewhere.. ill investigate tomorrow!

guages light up when you turn the headlights on!

Only rust spot on car^

I know, it needs a wash..

KLZE^

Driver side bolster still intact... a common rip in Mx6's...

Guages again.

Wastegate in red, BOV (not hooked yet), and AFPR... and the obviously in parts turbo...

What sort of power is this making Justin? and whats the price? PM me if you dont want it shown publicly. I have a friend looking at MR2 Turbos at the moment because finding a 6 with enough power was hard work and he's not in a position to do major mods himself. He would be very interested, especially as he loved driving the 6 he had for a few weeks last year.

I'm not sure on power, i wasn't going to dyno it until the megasquirt was in and tuned. Also forgot to mention timing belt and water pump were done when i first got it, all hotpipes were wrapped up it header wrap except the front header bank. Im going to guess the car wont make too much more than 240-250 since i only have 270Cc's in. I do know the car breaks traction at 4K in 2nd gear as it sits now...

Im going to start at £2500 and work down from there. This car is only advertised here and UKPOC.Co.uk... if no bites by the times its completely done and running ill start lowering and advertising locally and Ebay.

Also note, this wont be able to be driven everyday. This is more of a weekend car that you go out in, and drive the Corsa/Civic/renault to work lol But its your car in the end right?

Cheers for the thought Justin. Unfortunately the wedding has spanked my bank account and taking out a loan when we are getting married in 2 weeks isnt really sensible. I'm the kinda guy that would prefer to work hard and save up, rather than pay long term for something. As I run my own business my account can go up and down by a grand in a few weeks. Unfortunately, this time of year isnt the busiest but i'm about to branch out and advertise over a wider area which should double the workload and income. It just seems like every time a 6 comes up that I would bite someones arm off for I'm not in a buying position.

I'm going to go and work on a strategy for this and if the car is still for sale i'll pm ya.

Who ever gets the car is gonna be lucky, I would love to get another members car as I know how well you lot treat them.

Like i said, i dont plan on selling it fast, i have time to hold it. I could also hold it with a down payment, but to actually let the car go, it will need to be paid in full Anyways, congrats on the marriage, and PM me if you want to!

Traitor!

sorry to see you're moving on, i've no doubt that you won't need any luck with the sale on such a unique and rare mx-6. Best of luck with all of your future purchases.

Make sure you put it up on pistonheads, they give pretty good coverage. Steer clear of e"robyacashfromunderyapillow"bay as you prob wont get nowt. Although it might get interest due to its rarity.

Just out of curiousity tho Justin, are you running a stock clutch with it as I've heard the clutches on 6's are meant for a 2.0 and dont cope well with bigger power?

As far as the std clutch goes, the clutch plate is the same as the 2.0, but the cover (or pressure plate) has a higher clamping force to make up for the extra power of the 2.5...

It is still considered a bit weak by most, but under normal driving conditions, it's up to the job..
