im pretty sure its in kilomiters, as i use it to go to work wich is 3 miles away and it shows double the miles that u do, would work out to 135 thousand miles, you can't tell its even done that as leather is superb, hardly any wear on anything, very smart

Sounds strange. Only imports show in Kilometers but yours appears to be a UK car with leather and E-spec headlamps. If you are working out the mileage as 135,000 does this mean is shows 200,000 on the odometer?
If the odometer is in Kilometers it will show 110mph on it whereas the uk cars have a speedo up to 140mph

it does show 200.000 but in 7 months it shows ive done 12 thousand miles, which is no way i dont go any where far in it, any way if its miles or kilo's it makes no difference as the engine and car are perfect, could not get a better engine, or interior
I'm a bit of a nut for establishing pedigree on motors before I buy them, and I like to make sure anyone purchasing on here gets a fair deal.
When you look at the lights (UK SPEC), and take into account the fact that it has leather interior, there is the suggestion that it is UK Spec. However, if the ODO is in KM's that would suggest an import. Which one is it? Because if its a UK-Spec, the mileage is quite high, and as such this would affect the asking price. If its Jap-Spec, (IMPORT) then there are lots of discrepancies with the car, (Lights, leather interior etc) and as such this casts doubt on the history of the car.
All I'm saying is, clear up the exact history of the car, and someone on here will probably grab it. It looks like its in good shape, and it sounds like it has been treated relatively well. Give people confidence in their potential purchase. (Oh, and sales talk doesn't work on here )
ok will admit did not know that, the milage does seem to go up alot quicker than it should, as i did work it out on a run, i was only being honest to what i think, if you were to look at the car you would definatly say its not in miles.
Could this be a euro import or a south african import as that would show in kmh and it doesnt have to be left hand drive to be one reg doc would show if date of manufacture and date of 1st registration are different
Speedo will not read 110 on a jspec import it will read 180 in fact it goes higher but doesnt have a higher number printed on the dial limiter kicks in around 110-115mph which is roughly 180-190kmh
What was the original reg number.. I can check it on the EPC..

1mph = about 0.61kmh
Incorrect, most imports show 110mph with only a few having the 180 mph speedo, see here
Having owned 3 of them Ive never seen anything but 180 dials it would be crazy for a japanese car to have dials that go 110 as thats kmh and equates to about 67mph
What you will find though is that when imported the dials are changed when its converted and calibrated to mph and because of the limiter is fitted with a dial that goes to 120 although 110 is the last printed number
The other way of changing the dials from kmh to mph is to only recalibrate the speed and simply put a mph sticker over the bit that says kmh on the center dial this doesnt require the dials to be changed its a cheaper option and doesnt require the needles removing on most cars which is tricky if they break
Helps having an ex father in law who used to import grey vehicles from Japan its how I got my first one
If the dial has mph and kmh readings on it its been changed when imported true dials will only have kmh readings on them and there is usally a sticker over the kmh sign at the bottom and look at the auction link you posted the dial has clearly been changed
Exactly as he says, they all have 180 KPH dials (Japanese imports). To get round the MOT, it needs either a sticker fitting, giving the 110 MPH, or be recalibrated so it actually reads up to 180mph
