She didn't sell oh well going to have to get her on my brothers drive and covered until I can get a bigger drive and money to tax and insure her.

Going to have to buy the 4x4 from a dealer with me credit card now. Ouch!!

didnt sell for £800?? whats wrong with people, thats a bargain, if i didnt have mine already and a girlfiend that woudl, and can, kick my arse, I would hav ebought it. but as I too am after a 4x4 for off roading, no can do. by teh way, i recommend a fourtrak or of course a defender-if you plan to use yoru frontera off road, be VERY wary-they are very prone to grounding....

I FIXED MY CAR-WE FIXED MY CAR!!

She didn't sell for £695 mate no idea why no one wants one. Like I said keeping it now and hoping it does become a modern classic.

Got my 4x4 now, Frontera sport S only for towing and not off roading but i might ground it on some of the speedhumps round here.

Cars been for sale in auto trader for well over a week and only 2 calls which have lead to nothing. Looks like I'm digging up my front lawn and tarmacking to accommodate all the vehicles currenly squeezed into 2 parking spaces, 3 cars and a catering trailer. It's a lot of fun parking them I can tell you. On the plus side looks like I'm keeping the 6. Anyone know someone who can tarmack over my front lawn on the cheap?

I wish Dave, i'm after the same thing myself. Had a mate round who's a bit of a "geezer", knows a mate of a mate kinda thing.

Our front garden is big enough for 3 cars and is part concrete, part slabs, part grass.

Matey said he could rip up the slabs (to be reused as a patio at the back) then get a mate to deliver enough concrete to fill in the space and grass.

With digging it over, laying a border and cement (ready mixed delivered) he wanted £400.

Dont think the pikeys would tarmac it for that so I might have to go with that.

Sadly with all the recent price increases in food, energy, council tax and petrol etc etc, nobody is parting with cash at present.

Also any car with an engine bigger than 1.5 litres is considered a gas guzzler these days when you are a private buyer.

If you are a company car driver, then a bigger engined car is still the norm.

See all the new Mondeos, Vectras, 3 Series BMW's etc etc on '08' plates.

Wondered why i was getting no calls on the car so checked the auto trader mag to see if car was in. Firstly couldn't find it and then I came across it in the BARGAIN CARS section. Not happy its been chucked in there even if it is under a grand. Bargain cars is where first time buyers look for a car or tight gits who wont spend money on insurance or petrol. Do you think I should ask for it to be moved?

Someones coming to view tonight and I'm hastily trying to think of things to put them off buying the car now. It's awful when you want to keep something that you really can't afford.
