Back box urgetly needed

Hi peeps,

My car has just failed it's MoT and the tax is up so it HAS to be SORN'd. The fault is emissions and most likely the cat. I have a spare system apart from the back box So here's my plea. Anyone got a standard back box, within easy distance of Reading?

Also, does anyone have a spare car (It has to be a car as I'm insured to drive it) that I can borrow for a short while? Big boys rules obviously (Anything I break/bend I will fix) I need to be able to collect it today as I'm back at work on tomorrow and the commute is 40 miles each way.

before blaming the cat I would pull the codes and see if the o2 sensors come up.

That was done last week as part of the heeeeuuuuuge expense diagnosing a dead (brand new) distributor. Only fault codes were for the dizzy.

Lambda is only 0.01 over anyway.

Taking the car out and ragging it mkight have fixed the priblem, as would another dose of engine cleaner but I can't drive it as the tax has expired and the cameras are out in force at the moment.
