For Sale Reverse Glow Instrument faces

Title says it all really, 3 reverse glow (elctroluminescent) faces for V6 manual instrument cluster all in working order. The small control box that drives the faces can be switched to either blue or green. I got these from the US a while ago and have had them fitted I think they cost me about £30 but only want £10 +P&P.

Cheers

You got a deal.

I work in St Ives. Pm me with your address and a pick up time and I will come get them tomorrow or whenever you want.

However, a picture of the whole thing wouldn't go amiss before I go for it.

I bought off US ebay for a couple of things and with the exchange rate at the moment you get some awesome bargains. Delivery is usually 7-10 days, which is quicker than uk sellers sometimes.

I have got these installed into the dash unit now, I am just waiting to get the dash put back together. I have to find the correct wiring area to connect the power upto though.

You need to wire them to a 12V feed, that is NOT controlled by the dimmer..

You should be able to find a suitable wire at the dimmer switch.. i.e. the 12V feed to it..

You can then use the dimmer on the inverter, but also the normal dimmer will still work for the needles..

Thanks for that John - thats a good idea. Does the 12v feed have an integrated earth? Or is it earthed through the bodywork?

I got them working guys! I've knackered up my dash a bit so it will be a while before pictures come along. I hope to get this sorted before Japfest.
