possible sale

oops, sorry, posted this in the wrong thread earlier...

Hi guys,

Its getting to that time where I get itchy feet and want a change in vehicle. Thinking about selling the MX6 to buy an MX3 or V6 Mondeo. How much do you think my Mazda is worth? Its got 17" OZ alloys, its in good condtion for age, Noble green with Tinted rear half. Its had a service, all new tyres and new ish rear and new mid exhaust. Everything works but Air Con needs re gassing (as far as I know, its never got cold since I had it). There are two bad points I know of about the car, and they are annoyances to me. First i steh uppoer alternator bracket bolt-its coem loose and de threaded-so rattles about a bit at low revs-but tis been like this for well over 15 months! The other is the rattle from the back, common problem as far as I know, and I think its teh rear brake calipers rattling (it stops when I apply the brakes) Its leather interior too, oh and its pretty low too. No Idea what its worth but I paid £1600 for it when I bought it.

Any ideas what it might be worth now?? HOPING for £1000, i dont expect much more...

Its NOT what you do, its the way that you do it...i think i might make a song about it...

I think your rear brakes are rattling because you need new springs in the calliper to hold the pads steady ... or you could do a bit of smart bending of the old spring to make it hold the pad properly. Good luck with your car
