My mates Calibra Turbo on Ebay
thought i'd post this as its a friend of mine and the car is a good example.
He's been recovering from cancer for 2 years and all the operations have taken their toll as he's 6'3" and finds it difficult getting in and out. heres some pics and the link. ![]() ![]() ![]() Ebay link He's hoping for £1800+ as another went through last week in worse condition with higher miles. Judging by the prices they are becoming very rare. |

I looked at this yesterday fella on ebay ... very nice example, working 4x4, 83k ... your looking at 2k easy, and i would not sell it for less.. i would advise a reserve, but i think it should pass the 2k mark anyway. Dont worry about the drivers bolster, there are enough of these motors being broken to pick up another anyway. The intermittent ABS light is common and due to dirt on the sensors on the rear diff, the rear sensors are not at the hub end of the shafts on the rear, but at the diff and pick up quite a bit of dirt.
Good luck with the sale... Paul. |

thanks Paul. He was advised about the ABS sensors and they said what you said. If he got over £2k he would be well chuffed but Ebay is a funny old place and you never know what's going to happen.
Saw another turbo with poor pictures, 100,000+ miles and a knackered clutch go for £1805 last week so he's hoping to get more than that. |
