im selling my mazda mx6. its 1992. Jap Import automatic (recon fitted 2 years ago) fitted with the KLZE engine. It has full black leather interior, 17inch alloy wheels, stainless steel exhaust. the engine has only 70,000 miles and has the 4 wheel steering setup. It has no mot and tax
Only selling as i brought it while i did the KLZE conversion on my probe, since its been done i havent touched the mazda and too many other cars take all my time up
see now this is the thing. This car has sensible mods, lower miles but no mot/tax and a sensible asking price but no-one has said that he's under priced it compared to the other j-spec on here.
How come? We are all moaning about the lack of value the mx6 has but when a cheap car comes up everyone is saying we should jump at the chance.
thanks for the comments. Im amazed at the difference between probe clubs and mx6 clubs. I have just been told by a probe owner that £500 is really expensive for a car with no tax or mot. Think they are judging it by probe standards where even an mot'd and taxed car with a full tank of petrol goes for less than £500. This is an absolute bargain, its in good nick, strong engine everything works and with a bit of time spent could be amazing
The fact is that this guy is willing to let it go for £500 - bargain. He hasn't asked for more and doesn't expect more. Therefore the issue is moot. If he had asked for £1,000 and we had said nooooo thats too expensive and not worth the money, then it would have been unfair to him. As to be honest, if he wasn't after a quick sale, he might have got that sort of money for it.
It's all about priorities and not torpedoing people.
I feel sorry for probe owners who have spent a lot of money on their car - the equity on them is even worse than ours! It's a shame. At least I've made a commitment to mine so I'm not going to sell it - no equity issues for me
am i right in saying it doesnt matter what boix the engines on you can swap then over
also where abouts is romford
