Unhappy 1992 Thunder Grey Breaking for spares

As posted earlier, the car got slaughtered at the MOT today and coupled to the fact that it needs a respray both sides and a cambelt kit/service just to make it half decent i've decided to break it for spares so I can put the money into a better condition MX6.

All parts are available, i'm keeping the de-cat, stainless sills, rear brake light, new brakes, CAI and other bits I bought ready for a newer 6.

The boot struts work (just), its cloth interior (red/blue fleck), exhaust looks fairly new from cat back, all switches work ok and the sunroof panel looks rust free.

Heres the pics.

its not great but ive seen worse. I stripped the car of everything tonight apart from body/engine parts but didnt take a pic of the seat. I did look at it the other day and it would stitch up ok I think.

Hi Paul,

Sounds as if it is fine.

I would appreciate it if you could look under the rubber as I have a roof already that I bought a couple of years back and this one has quite a lot of rust under the seal which I have rubbed down but would prefer a better one.

Also it would have to come off anyway as it will have to be resprayed Noble Green along with my 'J' spec brakelight spoiler that I bought from you.

Thanks again

Paula

checked around he seal in a few places tonight Paula and it appears to be totally rust free and very good, not a blister in sight. My mate had a radiator delivered today at the garage and when its fitted tomorrow he says I can have the box to ship the panel in.

Ready when you are hun.
