definately for the seatbelt pre-tensioners. I took the door cards off the P reg I just collected and the seat belt mechanism is HUGE and looks like its a trick bit of kit, not just an interia belt mechanism.
I'll pop into my local Mazda dealer in the morning and find out what my spare lead is for.

So what do you think my lead is for?
My 1997 grey leather seats are manually operated () and here are the relevant pages from my Owner's Manual for both the electrically and manually operated driver's seats.

Hey some cars apparently had seat warmers like my old Volvo 340
Just come back from the dealer and was told that this is a lead for cars that have Electric Seats which my car hasn't got.
Still less to go wrong and in the Owner's Manual, it advises people who do have electric seats should not adjust them without the engine running as the battery drain is considerable.

I'm afraid I can't meet you on Saturday unless you come to my place in Glenrothes. My wife has the car all day and mine is with the mechanics at the moment.
I can't send you a pm. So send me a pm with your mobile number or email me at: elmerfud@blueyonder.co.uk
