This is my dad's Mazda MX-6. Its done approx 48,500 genuine miles, which is extremely low for an 11 year old car. It is the 2.5l V6 which is a terrific engine and pulls very well in every gear. Effortless to drive and the gearbox is very smooth.
It was first registered in 1998 and i beleive is one of the last MX-6 ever made, only having had 1 previous owner!
There is a big folder full of original Mazda brochures, receipts, previous service records & MOTs.
48500 Miles
1 Previous Owner
Full leather interior
Tracker fitted
4 Goodyear Eagle F1 which lots of tread
Original speedline alloys
MOTd until March 2010
5 months tax (i think)
Extensive Mazda service history
2 keys
Cobra Alarm
Air con
Sony head unit and CD changer
The only bad point is that the electric aerial doesn't go up or down, but the reception is perfect. Bodywork is great with NO RUST anywhere.
You will need to post fotos of the car here or the moderators will remove your advert.
I think that £2750 is a fair price when I see other similar Japanese cars of around this year being sold privately for about this amount.
I would not let mine go for under this figure but I am not selling anyway. I am the car's second owner and it is becoming a rarity to find MX6's like your Dad's and mine.
What colour is the car?
That mileage means the engine is just run-in.
Don't sell her to anyone other than an enthusiast who will keep her looking great still.
sounds good, it really does, and even though its very much worth that, you might struggle?? If I had the cash though, I would buy, because the prospect of having a mint MX6 like yours is a very good one indeed!
get them pics up too, get some interest brewing, fingers crossed you will get your asking price or darn close to it. goodluck!
i've never heard of a '98 mx6. Didn't they stop making them i '97?
'93 mx6 KLZE. CM stage1, 9lb. fidanza, ss autochrome, Catless, pheno spacers, prob. chip, bald tires, polyurethane front motor mount inserts, protege5 rear calipers, messed up door lock,
I think you forgot to mention whether it was manual or auto, it would probably also help if you filled in your location so people know how easy it's going to be to pick it up.
Think the price is a little high as even though I'm a 6 fan you can get a decent R33 for just a few more pennies.
Good luck with the sale, and it would be nice to see the pics.
I agree
I love these cars too, but £2750! Good luck mate. Now if you were talking £1500?
92 Red, 100k mint, new gearbox, clutch, flywheel, RS Decat, 18" MVK's, Green stuff pads, DVD twin screens, full CAI, EBC drilled and grooved discs, boat loads of Meguiars, need nitro LOVE IT!
Looking at the condition, it's worth every penny, I feel.
If I win the lottery this week, I will buy her to add to my existing car as I do like red and so does John.....

Well spotted Noddy. Does look very tidy but it's yet another e spec suffering from having 200 bhp
we would all be lying if we didnt admit that when we had our first mx6, we all wished the back of the enigne below he rocker cover said it was a jspec, and we all checked just to be sure :-p
WOW, that's in mint condition. That's how I want mine to look eventually, it even has an almost identical number plate! Mine is R611 GGR. GRRRRR.
I thought all the last cars had the grey leather interior, or it just an option?
