1994 MX-6 2.5 V6 for sale

Hi,

due to emigrating, my trusty Tessa (MX-6 2.5 V6 Auto) is now available.
Stock model, no mods - except Powerflow exhaust system. That Golf GTi won't see you for dust, neither the Beemer M3 sometimes.

Here's an honest description of a 15 year old rocket-car:

Registered March 1994 (M reg)
2.5 Litre, V6, Automatic
Mileage: 140,000
Original cloth upholstery - drivers seat shoulder worn through as usual
4-speed auto gearbox
Red paint
Electric sunroof + windows
Electric mirrors
Central locking but no remote (remote disabled because it sets off the alarm)
Auto closing windows and roof (disabled because linked to alarm system)
Alarm still works though!
Thatcham Cat 2 immobiliser
6-cd autochanger
Aircon button but no aircon (as usual )
Original in-dash clock (eww)
Goes like: Sh*t off a hot shovel and sounds fantastic.

Recent new distributor (had that stop/start problem a few years back)
Needs: Front Discs; Shockers and Springs (+bushes all round); ABS wheel sensors; some electrical work as when the boot is opened all the doors lock - a bugger when its raining and you left the engine running with the windows and doors closed.

Has a few dints (nothing that can't be pushed back out and nothing serious) but mostly bodywork is ok.

She's still available guys ... even for a fully operating mobile MX-6 spares supply (although she still goes like the devil)

i'm assuming the mot is due to exprire?

unfortunately with it being base spec, no air con or leather, and the mileage etc is not as attractive to buyers for the money you want. The issues alone that you have listed will cost a couple of hundred to sort out at least.

I recently sold a 1997 R reg Auto with 70,000 miles, new cambelt and 13 months mot, leather + aircon etc etc for £850, but on ebay it only made £700 so you may want to revise your asking price.

I'm not being negative about the car, just realistic. People want as much for their money as possible these days and there are other mx6's out there at the moment for less money with more to offer.
