Sold for £850 via a £10 advert on Autotrader, had 10 times more calls off autotrader than Ebay.
Well here she is. 1997 Reg Auto 2.5 V6, 70,000 miles
Fresh after being cleaned. We bought this car with a broken cambelt then since Thursday she's had the following.
New complete cambelt kit fitted with tensioners/idlers
Oil change
New front disks and pads
New CV boot
Replaced cracked rear light
Brand new MOT til June 2010
The car has been damaged at some point in 2008 and repaired. The paintwork isnt great, its as if it wasnt masked off when painted but we are going to get it compound polished to try and deal with this. I just dont want people thinking its mint.
The car is stunning, it has a complete new exhaust and cat, sony cd stereo which sounds great, electric aerial and boot struts all work well, leather interior shows little signs of wear, the tyres are all fantastic and the wheels are great too. Spare alloy + all the usuall bits in the boot. Air-con is ice cold.
The car really doesnt need anything doing to it other than the cosmetics if you are fussy..
As you can see theres a scuff on the rear bumper, a few dings on the sides and you can see some red bits where the bonnet/bumper were resprayed. It looks to me like the car had front end damage to the bonnet and bumper which is why the damage is recorded. Theres no history with the car, but believe me its the quietest 6 ive heard and believe the mileage to be completely genuine based on the condition. I do love my manual 6 but if the car doesnt sell for what I need it to i'll be happy to keep it for a while, the auto box is super smooth.
Looking for sensible offers, based on what we've spent on the car and what I think its worth i'd like to get over a grand but we'll see.
Nice one windy, shame it's an auto or i'd seriously be considering it. Saw your ebay listing first and went "oh bugger auto" looking good though mate you should make a decent profit on it fingers crossed.
dont leave it till theres less than 12 hours left. over 12 hours you can end early, claiming its a bad ad or cars sold or somerts wrong with it or whatever, then relist with reserve...
had someone local come round today after seeing the ad on ebay, wanted to know if I would take £500. When I told him what I wanted he wasnt suprised as his cousin had just bought one for £1200. He said he would go away and have a think about it.
[color="Yellow"]I've taken people's money, without delivering goods. I've lied about it, too! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ME!
