I am going to sell my 6

Hi all

I am looking to get a new car (have a one off oppertunity, just need a deposit).

Thought I would offer it on here first.

Tax till october, test till november.
The car has had lots of work done to it;
Rebuilt gear box ( Oddballs old box then completely overhauled by midland transmissions) and clutch kit, 600 miles ago, also fitted new slave cylinder.
Replacment cam gaskets fitted, just.
Timing belt changed 3000 ago and fitted new water pump and hydraulic tensioner and idlers.
EBC drilled and grooved front discs, with green stuff pads.
New rear discs and pads.
New plugs, cap and arm.
Replaced all 4 struts and springs.
Great service history from new to 110,000 miles now.
stainless decat pipe.
new mazda back box.
18" MVK alloys with great tyres and lots of tread.
3.5 inch DVD head unit with 7" rear screen.
Full CAI kit.
Interior in great condition, proper cloth interior.
Body work in good condition.
Cruise control.
Standard fogs re-fitted.
£1000.

Please PM for my number and more detail, as there is loads more done!

His car isn't your average faded red MX6, this is a well cared for car and it show's. If he get's a good price for it we all benifit.

Pitty we didn't get it on the Meguires Stand at Japfest, photo's of it on there stand would really make it sell.
My advice would get it to some car show's and park it up with a 'For Sale' sign, I'm sure you would drum up some interest.
Well worth £1,000

Mark

I wish the paint job on mine was that good, mine has loads of chips on the front end. Also, I wish mine had cruise control! although I'd rather have an airbag (it's one or the other unless you go with an aftermarket system).

I firmly believe this car is EASILY worth the £1,000 mark - but that's my OPINION. Good luck selling it Nasher, I hope it goes to a good home.

What is this one-off project you have in mind?

Ben.

If i see just ONE MORE POST de-valuing or knocking down another members car, or even a car on ebay... I'll put the poster on a 7 day vacation .. and dont come the public forum or opinion [shizzle]e either.

I AM SICK TO DEATH OF READING THIS PUT DOWN [shizzle].. YOU DONT LIKE A CARS VALUE, DONT BUY IT AND KEEP QUIET.

I am at a loss with these people that have the gall to be-little a fellow members car value, then have the gall to to call their attitude when they get an answer back. If you dont like the replies and back chat, then dont post up crap about the value of their car

This place is supposed to be a community where everyone looks out for one another... not screw them over with this sort of rubbish.

I dont want any replies, what i want is this crap to stop.

Gone...

Ok, you knew it, the car is not for sale. I was offered £1200, but just could not do it

The Scooby that I was offered also turned out to be not so good, so I am well chuffed that the 6 will stay with me. To celebrate this I ordered two new calipers and a strut brace for the front!

God damm it, this car is like one of the family.

MX6 Addict, you were so right, its a part of me now.

Thanks for all the great comments guys above, that was also part of the decission.

Hope to get to trax, the first crate of Mr. Stella is on me!!!!

To let your 6 go for a Scooby would've been a bad move as well. Scooby's are ten a penny.

A SCOOBY?........A SCOOBY?..........A SCOOBY
You were going to swap your 'one of a kind' 'eye catching' 'head turning' 'very very shiny MX6.......for a SCOOBY!! The car that every spotty sixteen year old drives!!
For God's sake tell me it wasn't blue with gold wheels and yellow stickers.

Thank God you sobered up in time

Mark

Nasher, seriously good move NOT selling your 6 IMO. You have a lovely car and I can't see where you'd benefit getting a Scooby.

Anyway mate, 6's are beautiful cars, Scooby's just can't come close

Can't you just tell I have the bug

I can't stand Scoobys.

They sound awful as well as look ugly.
