A member is selling his MX6

A friend of the forum is selling his MX6 and I can personally vouch for the car.

Gerry bought the car earlier this year and at 1st I thought he'd been led up the garden path with it but after putting in the work and ££ he finally ended up with a straight, standard, well equipped mx6.

When he got it the car was lowered, had a full stainless exhaust, cloth interior and 18" alloys. Gerry didnt like the ride from the lowered suspension so I swapped it for the standard 6 month old shocks/springs on mine. He also didnt like the alloys so we fitted a nice set of Speedlines with nearly new tyres.

Gerry also loves his leather and i needed the ££ so he bought my excellent black leather interior with electric drivers seat and I swapped the interiors for him. IIRC it also has stainless sills. The black rear spoiler was changed for a standard silver one and Gerry has tinted rear light plus a pair of standard lights that I gave him.

He then spent the best part of £500 getting it mot'd as it needed a small patch welding (rear seatbelt anchor point), a brand new front caliper was fitted and a few other things I cant remember.

For pics of the car see here, and there are other threads on here about it.

The car has around 10 months mot and tax til the end of the month. Not sure on service history, alarm etc but I think the mileage is around 145k. He is asking £995 for it, with the intention of haggling.

I'm only posting this as a favour to Gerry as he's going through some tough times at the moment and would like the car to go to a good home, someone who will benefit from his, pauls and my hard work that has made this car a good one. If anyone is interested then pm me and i'll give you Gerrys number.

Hope we can find a good home for it.

If anyone would like a third party verification of this car, I'm offering my services. In so far as to come and have a look around it with a prospective buyer. I can vouch for Stu, Paul and Gerry's knowledge of MX6's.

Nice one matey, its a shame Gerry cant make Trax as it would have been a good place to show off the car and let people have a good look round.

Due to the logistics I cant just pop round to Gerrys to help with the sale as its a 2 hour drive each way so if you're there to help the buyer that would be perfect.
