Are the speakers standard fit for the MX-6 or do they require bodging? I shouldn't really be spending money but one of my rear speakers is broken and just crackles annoyingly.

Robert,

They are an exact fit. The rear ones drop right in after removing the covers which are simply prised out. The front originals have a shroud which is stuck on the speakers and I simply peeled them off and sandwiched my speakers between it and the door mount - you could secure the fronts direct to the mount and ditch the shroud.
