Note that I don't think they include the ABS ring but I think they are easy to remove and replace, or are they John?
Even cheaper for me John, I can get college to fit them so no labour charge
Not sure if they only do web orders or if they allow personal callers, will ring them Monday. I will probably buy 2 as I'm not sure which side has gone.
I suppose it would be easy to remove the ABS ring, but it should not be refitted... only use a new one..
The bible says not to remove the ring if not necessary, the new one is pressed on with a special tool... but you could use something that fits over the top, and tap it on gently..

I got mine very quickly from parts in a box.
I used a process of elimination on the website to find the one I needed... Thankfully, I did narrow it down to one.
Still, if they don't answer emails, they aint gonna get business
Car went into college today for the CV joint replacement but they couldn't free some part of the suspension/wishbone so couldn't check the number of driveshaft splines.
They need to cut the front drop link to get at the joint and then determine the number of splines. Knowing my luck it will be 23 whereas the new joint has 26.
Can anyone determine the number of driveshaft splines from either the EPC part number or car VUN number?
Or are the number of 'teeth' on the ABS ring related to the driveshaft splines?
BTW Ended up having the joints delivered, only took one day by Initial City Link marked 'deliver by 5:30pm.'
I know when I got mine, they asked how many teeth the abs ring had..

I didn't look at the number of splines.
After reading the forum, I was aware of this issue, but on the 'partsinabox' using engine size, year, transmission, I narrowed the options down to 1.
Got the part and it fits OK.
I knew about the droplink too, purchased one in preparation, gave it to the garage, and they didn't need it.
Is something amiss here??? Or is the wheel gonna fall off my car in the near future?
Finally had one fitted today, no complaints about cheap or inferior goods just one small problem, no ABS ring.
However the original ring is ally so a gentle warming with the gas axe got the old ring off and was fitted to the new joint.
Got home and had a look at the second joint and found it contained 2 ABS rings - trust me to choose the wrong box for the first replacement
The joints also contain a new hub nut which I hadn't realised and purchased one from Mazda.
So they come highly recommended by me. Delivery next day, around £20 per joint (others were quoting £60 - 100 !!) and complete.
The part number for my April '92 registered MX-6 is 3410, in fact that seems to be the only one listed for ABS. The drive shaft and hub splines are correct at 26 and 28 respectively.
