Useless_Avoid [Driveshaft Parts]

www.driveshaftparts.co.uk

They were willing to take my £55 quid for two CV joints on the 11Jan but it's been 17 days no joints or emails. After the first week I sent an email but no response. I assume that by Monday and 3 weeks they've just taken my money.

So much for next day delivery!

Do not use them!

I can't belive someone here recommended them!

I recommended them because their prices were much cheaper than elsewhere and delivery was as advertised.

Although I have only used them once, you don't usually buy CV joints every day , I had no problem with them.

Obviously as I am in no way connected with them I have no idea why you are having problems but I hope it gets resolved quickly.

Have you tried ringing the guy?

Well I've rung 3 days in a row now and just written my 4th email. At the end of this week if they don't respond I'll start a small claims against them.

Look who owns the site:

Registrant's address:
PO Box 13251, Jacobs
Durban
Kwa Zulu Natal
4026
South Africa

Never gonna see that money...

I have used this company and I must admit their comunication skills are a bit odd. My joints were delayed but it was the courier, I think they advertise parts but dont always have them in stock! I think the answer is if you think you will be needing joints in the near future (i.e. MOT) give youself plenty of time.

Mark, if this is the case, they should not have

"We are currently dispatching all orders for delivery via our next day service on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday."

on their website.

Bearing in mind the Manchester address has been hacked off the site it looks more and more like a scam.

They are based in a mill not far from me, I didnt realise untill after I bought the joints or I would have arranged to collect them in person, they are based in Goyt Mill in Marple Bridge. I'm not sure how I found the address but I think it came up on their website. I agree they have a funny way of doing business, when I rang the first time they answered the phone OK then when I phoned a second time it rang and rang, they might have a caller display and if they dont want to talk to someone they leave it ringing. I intend to get a second set of joints for my 2nd six but I will make sure that I pick them up in person.
