Ok, guys, his power steering is very heavy when almost stationary, in both directions. His mechanic says it must be the pump - note, he said it must be, not it is. His 320mm racing steering wheel makes it heavier. He wants to get a 350mm and looked at one recently but it only had 5 bolts and he thinks his has got 6. He wants to find a good-looking sporty one which he doesn't have to change the boss for. he also wants to change his wheels soon and asked me the offset. john has given him thorough help via PM, which he's grateful for.

If only i'd paid attention in those spanish lessons. Then maybe I could have ordered oscar a meal at a restaurant and a room at a hotel. As it stands, I could probably ask him for a beer. Sadly the spanish segment of my BTEC computer course wasnt taken very seriously.

The engines have a fair amount of difference..

Flat top pistons
Higher lift cams
Larger ports
Wider/longer inlet manifold
different VRIS timings

That is the main items..

My import has climate control bose sound system with odd looking sub thingy (currently in the cupboard whilst doing work on car) the lights are different to other ones I see around and my fog lights turn with my steering and my blinkers are next to the fog lights I have 2 reversing lights with a horrible fog light mounted to the bumper others seem to have a fog light built into the tail light I have 2 Arial leads for the stereo but no idea why Not seen many other ones with a 3rd brake light either so was probably an optional extra like the climate control and stuff.

Oh and putting this back to the original subject matter. That 4 wheel steer pump has been relisted on ebay.
