rear bushes - full kits

Been prodding around the back end of my little black thingy and found it would realy benefit from a complete set of rear bushes. Priced them up at mazda who supply complete arms and charge something in the reigon of too much to take seriously. Been looking at powerflex and as near as I can tell they can do universal bushes which I could modify if necessary but again I would need 32 bushes at £14 each. Then I would need the trailing arms at £130.

Does anyone have any better solutions? Know a bush manufacturer? Know where to get kits imported? Not too bothered if they are rubber or poly (poly would be nice) but would prefer new to used.

There is no rear wishbone, we have a multilink setup..

The reason for the high dealer price is that they don't sell the bushes, only the complete links..

And I have no idea where you get 32 bushes from... you only need 6 per side.. plus a top mount if you want..

Hi Guys,

This is the set up I have got.

I arrived at 32 bushes from my interpretation of needing 2 top hat type bushes to repalace each bush on the 4 arms. The trailing arms would be sepparate.

Do you know of any other alternatives to the dealer option?

Also, while i've got u. I'd like to put a pic of my 6 on here. I have pics on my pc but dont know how to get them to here???

Thanks

Gez

If you look at the diagram, there are 2 lateral links, and one trailing link per side.. 3 in total.
The bushes are probably one piece, 2 per link, making 6 bushes per side. 12 in total.

To put a picture up, you need to host the pic on your webspace, or one of the file hosting sites like photobucket or imageshack... you can also link from a cardomain page if you have one..

Did you end up buying some rear suspension-link bushes? If so, from where? Did you have any trouble fitting them?
Thanks, elfor
