Tune 2WD and 4WD vehicles up to 1600BHP !

Based in Exhall, Coventry, Thor Race Engineering Ltd is a new company with much to offer the enthusiast tuning/racer in the midlands area.

We offer a workshop tuning facilities and hire of our portable Chassis Dynamometer, at our premises, or at your own premises.

Key benefits include:-

1600 BHP, 4 wheel drive Chassis dynamometer

2 or 4 wheel drive Chassis dynamometer.
Wheels removed and coupled directly to hubs, not like a conventional rolling road.
More accurate as no tyre to roller interface and NO danger of leaving the rollers.
Generates graphs of Power, Torque, Air/Fuel Ratio, Temperatures and Manifold pressures.
Mobile and able to visit customers premises.
Safely simulate road conditions up to 200 mph, “in house”.
Perform diagnostics with engine/transmission under road load conditions.


Other services we can offer are:-

Supply and fitment of specialist tuning electronics (Apexi, HKS, Blitz etc)
Re-chipping and reprogramming of engine management systems. (AEM, Autronic, Pectel, UniChip, Motec etc)
Diagnosis of engine management faults.
Fitting and tuning turbo boost controllers, fuel adjustment and ignition
European and imported vehicles catered for
Grey import conversions
Speedo converters, top speed delimiters
Specialist engine services


Club members get a 10% discount of our £40/hr labour charges and £100/hr dynamometer tuning service.

Club group bookings get 15% discount and we can cater for 15 2WD vehicles and 10 4WD vehicles on a Dyno Shoot out day.

Hi there do you have a landline so I can contact you on?
my address thomaseves@btinternet.com I am looking at getting my car re-mapped and de-restricting of my mazda mx6 2.5 v6 1995.I also need my inlet manifold taken off and new injectors replaced.also tappets tightend up also.

please can you help?

First of all Tom, the person that posted the thread (KEN) is not the person providing the service.

You can try the address given at the end of the thread, but please consider the thread is also 4 years old. The tappets on these motors are HLA's, hydrolic, therefore you cannot tighten them up, you can try cleaning them or replacing them.
