I have fitted two of these, but their part number was SWP2014.

Cost just under £30 delivered next day.

You will also need a 5mm allen key to fit them.

Yes, these are the rear ones. I don't know about the front ones. I am keeping quiet on the subject in case I give the wretched thing ideas.

Front droplinks

Just had a reply from South Wales Props - their Part Nos SWP1037 & SWP1038 are front droplinks for Mazda 626 1987 onwards and are equivalent to Mazda GA2A-34-150A & GA2A-34-170A Priced at £33,49 incl VAT & Postage they are quite a bit cheaper than the Mazda part (£45.49 +VAT). Needless to say, I am ordering mine now!

droplinks

The only problem is if the top of the droplink contacts the bottom of the car if the rear suspension is against the stops. However I seem to remember on mine (which isn't 4WS) there was lots of clearance.

Did not have the old droplinks, I'm afraid, as one was no longer existent and the other was not far behind.

Have a 5mm allen key handy BTW.

Put on the new links and they went on a treat...After getting the old ones off.Had to cut every one Thank goodness for the drimmel lol wore out all my blades...

The back ones were 2 cm longer but didnt make any difference. They go downwards and plenty of play in the ball joints. Now at least it doesnt sound like I'm tap dancing down the road.lol
