I imagine there will be several different recomendations for these. But I'm looking for a set and have looked at several different ones. Most of the them will list the mx3 or 626 but not the mx6.But the bosch catalogue lists them as the same. Also cant find one that lists the coil wire.Demon tweeks said they can supply splitfire for about £100 plus vat and carraige.
So I'm open to recomendations on this.Who thinks which wires are best. Also any bad experiances...(whats hot and whats not)Also any place to get them.I imagine most of you have had some experiance with most of the different brands.
Again thanks for any input. Roy
Personally I've got Magnecor 8.5mm but would go for the 8mm ones if I had to choose again purely because they fit in the clips better.
Coil wire? We don't have that on UK 6's. Have you got a different distributor setup altogether on the JSpec then? If so, don't get any leads specified for UK cars...
Ken
Edit.
Just checked the Magnecor site ( www.magnecor.co.uk ) and the JSpec MX6 isn't listed. However, the 2.0L V6 Zedos6 is listed as 2 versions, one with a 25mm long coil lead. Would be worth ringing Magnecor to see if they can suggest anything...
Hi Roy really only one name in quality leads Magnicor...... try this link has various options remember that standard leads are 7 mm .....8 mm will fit the std clips...... but top of the range KV 85 won't .....do come with clips anyway I do belive
My KV85 ones have Xedos written on the box..
You do get clips, and a sticker
nearly all my std clips are broke

Im interested in the story or evidence or whatever that suggests that the Bosch are no good? and why magnecore are? I mean how can you feel the diff? is it just how long they last?. Just curious thats all. Being a used to be sparky, I understand about quality and resistance of cable etc but I just cant get my head around how one is so much better than the other, both should be decent quality copper??
Someone put me staright, or is this jsut an old wives tale????lolol...straight out of the magnecore sales brochure.
I replaced my std leads with Bosch. 12 months later they started to fail.
Heard many stories of the same happening where Magnecore seem to last the distance.
