spark plugs

Hello, just have a wee question about spark plugs etc. Looking for new plugs, leads, dizzy cap and rotorarm and having a bit of trouble finding anything after countless searches.

I've found a set of Nippon Denso Iridium plugs for £55, any good? Thats about all I've found. I'm looking for above standard spec if possible, where can I go?

Cheers

For leads, you can't do much better than Magnecor.
http://www.mx6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56285 (Magnacore Plug Leads 10% Club Discount) - don't forget to ask for our discount.
Go for the 8mm blue ones though - 8.5mm ones will break the clips eventually.
There are other makes around, Formula Power etc, but no-one's ever complained about Magnecor.

Plug-wise, I use NGKs. I can't tell you what type, as mine will be different to yours anyway due to the KLZE.

Cheers Ken, just e-mailed Phil de Wit at Magnecor to see what he can do. Any ideas on the rotor arm etc? I know you have the KLZE swap but can't seem to find a supplier or any listings.

The plugs should be easy to find.. NGK ZFR5F-11 or NGK ZFR6E-11... even Halfrauds do them.... at a price

Rotor arm may be dealer only... £22.76 plus VAT... Dizzy cap £29.29 plus VAT

Have seen how you have these discounts available, very useful too, but would it apply to me too? Am on this forum, but do not own a MX-6..(Still hum and hah about whether I should've got one, still, got next best thing @- ) Though do have a V6, and for all I know a KF-DE engine (2 litre Zxi & Xedos 6?) may use the same leads too!!??

Motor has just about topped 72,000 miles, so before long will end up replacing 'em I expect.

Had car 10 months now, only done 5,000 miles in it but have just recently changed oil for proper synthetic stuff, not that engine was tapping before, but a Mazda oil filter was not used...hmm....next will be coolant....then wiper blades.....then gearbox oil.......brake discs......pads........brake fluid........spark plugs.....and then perhaps finally power steering fluid......sheesh, hope it appreciates all this attention!!

Steve - you're a member of the Forum, therefore entitled to the discount too.

Check the Magnecor website for the application guide to see which leads you need.
