MX3 Flywheel

I had a slightly better month than expected on the wages front so popped down to my local breakers cause I know they had a bright yellow V6 MX3 in there. Asked for a price on the flywheel and they wanted £50

Bit of a shock to the system, but their the only place nearby so thought I'd bite the bullet and asked when I could pick it up.

"Well Sir, that's what we'd call a labour intensive job to remove it, and the £50 I just quoted was for you to spend a day doing it yourself (he say's with a sly grin on his face). If your asking us to take it off for you, then that'll be another £50 !!"

Well sod that thinks me, I'll pop on-line and see if any of me old muckers on MX6.com can track one down for me

So, anyone know where I can pick one up ? Cambelts being done in a week or two and would be a shame to let the opportunity slip by.

Mazda spares in Rochdale did mine for 60 plus delivery but they sent ken an mx6 one. I dont have a very good opinion of them as they dont seem to know anything. Aparently jspecs and uk engines are the same!!!

If im nearby will have a look

Well I'm guessing you lot had no luck, or no time - no problem, 've found someone on-line but I wanted to make sure it was the 2.0 V6 MX3 that I need the flywheel off - Yes ??

Not exactly... the MX-3's are 1.8L

326 V6's are 2.0L
