ok I'm looking to replace my number plates for some more upto date euro style ones.... but on quick inspectioin I cant figure how to remove the rear one, is it just stuck on ???
In true Blue Peter fashion it's held on with double-sided sticky tape When you pull it off, you'll leave remnants of tape on the bumper which are best cleaned off before fixing the new one.
I found that heavy duty velcro (from your local Homebase) is an excellent alternative although it doesn't stick very well to the plate carrier on the front.

cheers Kev, makes life easier for me rather than ripping it off and figuring it off afterwards :-)

If I were you I'd get hold of some nylon fishing line.... you can then drag it through behind the tape and break the seal, and it wont damage the paint.
Then all you need to do is clean up the sticky remnents with something, I've used meths in the past found it works pretty well.
