4WS front streering rack is OUT...

OK, well today after a quick inspection, i saw that my rack had busted the boot on the passenger side. Its been leaking steering fluid, but not much and still runs smooth. It also makes this horrible whimpering sound when turning right. 4WS works great, but still need to get a proper alignment.

My question: Is the 4WS FRONT steering rack the same as the 2ws FRONT steering rack? I would really and honestly cant afford to cough up a huge chunk of change to buy a 4WS front steering rack on the UK economy 4 days before i go to the states.I would prefer to buy the rack in the US and just get it shipped over for cheap. If not, then can the 2WS rack be fitted with all the 4WS bits? Id imagine there be a steering position sensor on the rack somewhere, but im praying... also a few PN's for the rack would be great...

Front 4WS steering rack is different to the 2WS as it has the connection for the transmit bar to the rear rack... Justin if you are looking for one for when you get back i know someone close who may still have one.. i can enquire of the price for you.. he did have it up on ebay at one point in the past 3 weeks.

Also Justin .. are you off to the states in 4 days ?!?! i have chased SS Auto about those headers but still not heard back from them ! not impressed... if they dont make it before you leave.. when are you back ?

Cheers .. Paul.
