Clutch choices & engine mounts.

What you reckon then, from what i have seen we have a few choices.
We start at the exedy clutch upgrade which im estimating will be good with all bolt ons for our car.
Could not find one via graham goode, but ebay has them lol: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mazda-MX6-2-5-...QQcmdZViewItem

Another type is the ACT clutch available from corksport:
http://corksport.com/store/category/...rivetrain.html

Or we have the clutchmaster series as seen at RR racing: (got my eye on this maybe stage 3 kevlar)
http://www.rr-racing.com/clutch.htm#...tion%20Pricing...

Anyone have any experience with these?
The other query is poly inserts or mazdaspeed mounts? They are both very different in price but whats the quality and actual differance between them? I take it the inserts use your old mounts?
Cheers guys.

have clutch masters stage 3 fitted very happy with it. get some jumpin in first and reverse have jus adapted my drivin to reduce this.
takes a beatin have used it for quite a few drag races .
recomend it. cpl racing are official uk suppliers of this clutch. there are a few links already on the site for them. They sell the stage 2 and stage 3 for the same price so recomend going for the stage 3. hope this helps a little mate

Ta for that link bud, very handy bit of karma if it will let me
Anyone got any suggestions on the mounts? I have no experience with either, but the mazdaspeed mounts seem pricy for doing the dsame job as the poly inserts. Any info welcome.

Anyone seen or tried this http://www.fordprobestore.co.uk/stor...roducts_id=237

BTW, i called them up about the clutch and was a little shocked if
im honest.
For a CLM-S3 they wanted...........£372.70
CLM lightweight flywheel..............£382.87

So i though................ NAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

I can get the same clutch from RR for £195 after conversion (not inc p£p). Can get the whole package including mounts. SS clutch line,& flywheel with shipping for a lot less i reckon.

Cheers for the link though, but ill reckon i may pass on that one

Well if you like John I will send you mine.I haven't got around to filling this set yet.As where I bought the urethane haven't had any more in yet.
Then when you replace yours you could send me your old ones.(maybe filled if you have enough poly.... )lol
Was it the front and rear you wanted?

all 4 would be preferable if you have them Roy..

It's the one on the end of the gearbox that is shot... but I reckon I might as well change all of them....

The 5th mount is only a rubber mounted bracket, on the crossmember underneath...

I have a friend who works for a windscreen replacement company.... and I have heard of people using the mastic stuff to fill them..
