coolant hoses

I am right in thinking that the coolant hoses on the 6 are exactly same as those on the probe yeah??

Thought id check before going n spending money to find out ive gone wrong.

If i remember correctly, someone has mentioned in the past the top radiator hose is either longer or shorter.. but right at this min i cannot remember which

There are a few differences - enough to make spending the money pointless.

I know these guys can sort it for you by making some to your spec -

The Probe top hose is about 2" longer than the 6 hose, although it can be cut to fit.

I strongly suspect the bottom hose is also different.

If anyone has ever looked in both a Probe *and* MX-6 engine bay.. you'll notice the motor is a good 2" closer to the radiator on the MX-6 than it is in a Probe.

The lower hose *might* stretch to fit. The upper one is definitely off as described though.
