I have a left front and rear sensor for sale Ben.
They are brand new from the dealer and still in thier boxes. PM me for details.
AFAIK you can only get them from the dealer and they cost an arm and a leg.
Before changing them, unless you are sure they are damaged, make sure the connectors are actually connected (one of mine wasn't) and clean round the sensor head, they collect rubbish which affects the working.
If you can get the sensor out without damaging it, do so and clean the 'hole' the sensor sits in.

Short TBS and GND in the diags box, connect LED as usual and read the codes..

This will tell you what is wrong with the ABS, and if it's a wheel sensor, which one is faulty/connection problem)

As for second hand sensors, they normally rust in solid, and removing usually damages them.. if they are soaked in WD-40, and heated a bit, they might come out easier..
New from the dealers are around £130 a corner..

When I had my suspension setup done, I had two new bearings put in as well. My mechanic and his team tried in vain to get this one side working again, but to no avail. I trust their judgement as these guys are blindingly good.

Dave, I will definitely be interested in the front right side sensor. I will PM you about it.

Ben.

Thanks to Doorslammer Dave for his help with this and giving me a great deal on his front left ABS sensor. He has another one for sale I believe (the front right) if anyone needs one. They are genuine Mazda sensors and they don't come cheap from Mazda.

(If anyone is wondering, I got it wrong. It was my front left sensor that was faulty not my front right.)

Just a correction, it's the left rear sensor that is still available.

Nice to meet you Ben.
Sooner you than me on those long daily trips, I'm too long in the tooth now for those
