I would now test to see if the ignitor is working. I don't have a wiring diagram to hand but you need to unplug the dizzy, give it some power through the necessary connections then trigger it by taking the lead that would have been connected to the ecu positive. I would use a 1.5v pencell with the negative connected to earth and touch the positive connection on the dizzy trigger. 1.5v should be enough to trigger it but if you get no spark try a PP3 9v.

oh yes thank god, needs a bit of playing around with as the choke did not seem to work, im thinking it needed to warm up for the thermostat to open and then the water will circulate to work the choke next time, if not its only throttle body any way got hundreds of them
