Getting seriously bored with all this rain.. I'm in the middle of putting in Lexan windows in place of the glass in my MX-6 race car.. Am out in a weeks time so need to get it done fast... Just as I took out the glass rear window and put a bead of sealer around the aperature before installing the Lexan.. the heavens opened and it pissed rain for 10 hours solid.... Not much fun.. Now I am in the middle of installing the Lexan in the front doors (pillarless of course) which is turning out to be a lot of fun.. not..
Anyway at least I am going autotesting this weekend... and I'd prefer if its wet so the car can slide more....
Here's a few clips from the last few weeks of trying to grips with this sport...
when are you going to remove those hideous side pods and front lip spoiler and sell them to me Piers? LOL.
Think of the gramms you'll save, got to be worth 1/10th at Mondello!
Have you thought about going down the CF Bonnet route? I saw one on an RX7 a couple of years ago and was shocked at the weight saving. Boot spoiler on a 6 weighs a bit too.
..funny.. When I get down to the last few grammes I'll let you know.. Am planning a carbon bonnet, just waiting until its important.. Its quite an expensive bit of weight saving... Plus, if it takes a knock that will be the end of it...

I've done a bit of that autotest piers, and if nothing else its a great laugh. I think you look like you could be very good at it if you give it more of your attention. Hows the race car comeing by the way lets have some more videos and when will you let me have a go in her?
Bloody hell just looked at the other videos. I'm coming to live over there, looks like a great laugh.
