Time to sort the Niggles-Part One

Ok, since sorting out the major problems with my car (engine and dodgy steering-nice and tight now by the way) I need to sort out the much smaller niggles. I have checked the forums, but need clearer help if possible. here is my first niggle-leak!

ok, i used to have a leak in the roof line at the back, but i did some sealant round the rear window inside and it seems better. tehre is however a leak in the boot. I have traced it, it goes down both side, down towards the lights and through the first fixing point of the light, at the top, and inside into the boot area. it smells. i re sealed, all round, and even tried to create a new channel to redirect the flow! but to no avail, any other ideas??

The plastic inserts which the rear lights clip into are know to leak Clive. On mine I also discovered a leak about mid-way up the rear lights horizontally. There looks to be a body seam there and that's where mine was leaking.
If I get chance over the weekend I'll try to get a picture of the area.

I know where you mean Dave, on one side that seam is leaking, and the water IS coming through the rubber seals. I did try to seal with Silicone, but no joy...!
