Is Ba Ba Ka starting to show her age?

Hi Guys,

I took her up to London last night and heard a rattle/squeak from the engine at idle which was not there last week.

The sooner that I get her up to Nick Clulee in Sheffield the better and see what he thinks.

Hope it's something silly.

Am I getting paranoid.

hmm, i am the same, any noises I dont recognise and thats it!

where did it sound to come from, could you tell?

i wonder if its just one of you belts slackend off a bit?

its just with you saying "squeek" i automatically think belts....

Agreed, every noise is the " Death Knell " ....

The sound came from under the bonnet ......

Seriously though, I think that you could well be right as there are so many belts under there and I have been using the aircon a lot recently.

I'll get Nick to check them all in early September.

If I could find another Manual 1997 Noble Green II MX-6 with around 30-40K on the clock, I would seriously consider it BUT it would have to be mint especially underneath as BaBaKa is virtually mint under there and that is vitally important.

Were you driving in heavy rain by any chance? The reason I ask is that mine started doing something similar, but our street was flooded half way down, pretty much up to the rims. I had to drive through it 3 times, and the belts got a bit damp I think.
