Its a 97 in black with leather and the Speedline Alloys. It has not moved since January as the alarm broke and I could not start the car. I have not had a chance to fix it and now I must get it out of my parents drive. It has some panels in need of attention but it is mostly good and it ran perfectly prior to the alarm failure. I am open to any offers but buyer needs a trailer to take away.
Interested, what price are you looking at?
T&T????
Because it has been off the road I have declared it sorn and it has no tax. I would be willing to take a small offer just to get rid of it. Make me an offer and we'll see
Well if its not t&t'd then I cant drive it back. I can disable the alarm system so I can get it running. Unless you can get it to me but im quite far away.

Like I said in my post you need a trailer to take it away. I just want it off my driveway. I wanted to offer it here first before it went to the scrap heap
£40? Damn, you'd get more than that breaking it. Try MazdaMad :: Home because Windy often buys and breaks cars. I know that's a sore point with some people but it's gonna get scrapped anyway and you'd easy get more than £40 for it. I think he rents a trailer for the day to collect them.
In fact I remember someone on Mazdamad looking for some speedlines recently so I'm sure you'd get more demand for it there.
Also, try UK MAZDA MX6 OWNERS CLUB
Does it have any of the optional extras? i.e. Stainless Steel Sills or spoiler brake light? They're worth £40 alone!
Robert
p.s. I imagine pictures would develop more interest too as people can see stuff and maybe buy bits and pieces.
The later models seem to have a temic immobilisor in the ECU, not sure if they all do or if it's just some of them. Early ECU's have different connectors according to some info we had when helping another member on mx6oc, as I sent my old ECU from blackie (94 plate) to her for a 97 (P plate)

I really wish people wouldn't encourage people to break cars that can easily be saved and kept on the roads... This is a late model with a simple fix and breaking it would be absolute madness... as for Windy, he's been banned from here and MX6OC and apparently owes people money/parts. Hardly a glowing endorsement.

crazy! if my 4x4 was working I would have rented a trailer and had that, loads of room on my drive, would have been happy to spend time and money on it.
I meant it's better broken than scrapped but equally better repaired than broken. I hate to see these cars destroyed but if they have to be then it's better to 'keep it in the family'.

From my understanding its "a person" not people... and the situation is partly a result of his ban. When I banned the windy account, it also cut off access to his PM's, and he had to reach out to me to get the person's contact information.
His ban here was and is a cool-down period given the situation that had gone south real quick. It was not and is not permanent. His ban on OC - i'm sure you can fill in the details
as for breaking cars - the windy account can no longer do that here, and all parties are aware and in agreement, as far as i can tell.
