Going to Middlesborough Friday

To get some parts off a breaker car. 2 of us need a cat for upcoming MOT's, The Mexican needs a PS pump tensioner bracket and theres a car being broken that will be gone at the weekend.

I've asked the seller for a variety of parts that I need (like the headlights and stainess sills on it) but if anyone wants anything else i'd be happy to get it while i'm there. Prices are DIRT cheap, he wants £5 each for a headlight and £20 for the CAT.

Its a UK spec with some jspec addons.

Heres the description that is on UKPOC

i got this mx6 cheap for a few bits i needed for my probe

anyway the rest is there

anything anyone wants cheap?, I'm using all the brakes on my Probe

the rear end is smashed in so not any good i.e boot bumper etc

engine done 133,000 and bit tappy

newish rad

mx6 alloys 15's ok tyres £40

anyway if there anything you want ill take it off and sell cheap going for scrap on friday

im teesside near middlesborough

The car belonged to GT Matt, and before that it was posted about on here as it has a few j-spec bits and kept appearing on ebay.

I'm happy to pick up anything people want rather than let it go to waste. its 150 miles EACH WAY for me so please please let me know before I set off Friday.

I think Rob Syznal or some of the other lads might be passing by me on the way to Trax so I can pass on parts that way or post them on.

I would like to make it clear that i'm not selling anything, i'm just happy to pick up anything that people want. He doesnt want to post parts so this is the only way of getting something. The guy has loads of tools etc so anything can be removed. The car is also being advertised on UKPOC or GT Matt can give more info on MazdaMad or the OC.

more pics of the car are can be found here

If I cant get one off the car I might actually have one here you could have for nowt.

Still undecided about Trax so might have to pass the bits on to someone for you.

Having a hard time justifying the trip to Boro at the moment as theres little interest but it would be crazy to see this stuff go to waste.

Welcome back Ben!

You should get the dash too so you can mold a touchscreen into it for your carputer without wrecking your original.

Hamster, if you go to get some bits off it anyway could you maybe grab the handbrake cables from it? Also, the front fuel rail (I just remembered I snapped that bolt off in mine) and the bolt it self too I think my clutch is on the way out though so if that isn't too difficult I could do with that for cheap till I can afford a better one.
I was gonna say the CV but just realised you can get them new for only £34 on probestore.

Cheers
Robert

I've got a spare j-spec one here if anyone needs/wants it. Theres even a hole drilled for a push button starter or foglight switch next to where the stock fog lights are.

2nd hand brake cables are pointless, they are cheap enough new off probestore.

Dont think i'm going to have time to get the IM off to get at them mate. I've got a spare IM sat here but the fuel rail wiring connector is stuffed. You'd be better leaving it as it is if it doesnt leak, or get a complete IM, get it powdercoated or polished then refit it.

I'm not 100% sure what you are saying here but are you suggesting fitting a 2nd hand clutch til you can get a better one? thats the looniest thing i've heard for some time. A clutch swap is a 4-6 hour job, and I certainly wouldnt have time to take one off the breaker car, lol.

Rob - you make a good point there. If you have the time Stu, would you be able to grab the dash surround and the instrument cluster for me?

Cheers.

lol, I just threw away 3 e-spec dash surrounds coz they had been sat in my shed for 8 months!

Like I say, i've got a j-spec one here with coin tray, and a whole host of dash clusters from e-spec and j-spec cars that you can have chap.

Plus I still have your rear bumper bar fella.

ok i'm getting a fair list together here

Cat - me and whoever needs to use it for MOT
Sills - me
brake light - me
headlights - me
Front rocker cover - Coleman
Door Glass - Ben
air filter box - Dave100
boot liner - Clive
aerial if it works - Ben
dash surround and dials - Ben
PS tensioner bracket - The Mexican

Could people please put a suggested price on what they want to pay for their bits as I have to pay for everything and then get it back and I cant afford £40 of petrol and loads on parts that people then refuse to pay for.

I get the feeling everything is going to be dirt cheap, based on what the lad wants for headlights and the cat, and if someone can collect on the way to Trax that saves everyone paying postage.

Please copy the list and add a price in your reply, thanks

We can get together and go for a MCDonalds if you want Stu? Do the changeover there.

Ben.
