Hi everyone,
I am taking a break from the forum for a week or two because I am totally exhausted and not getting any younger.
Staying up to 2.00 & 3.00am in the morning is not much fun and it is making me feel quite unwell.
My co-moderator is around, of course, so please PM Dave (mx6-uk) if there is anything you need to discuss privately.
My new BBQ has now been tested and works well, so I am going to use it a lot this weekend.
The Test Match looks as if it will be close and of course, the GP season gets underway again this weekend so I am going to relax, eat and watch telly.
I had BaBaKa at the MOT place on Tuesday and they fitted new HQ Front Caliper Anti Rattle Springs.
But the clunk is still there and the guy there who fitted them is an ex-racing driver called Graham Ford. He came around to my home and he also thinks that it's probably the Anti Roll Bar causing the noise.
I will tell you all about him soon, fascinating chap.
He suggested that I wrap some material around the left hand side of the bar where it touches the front cross member and secure it with a tie. Then if the clunk is muted a bit, then we will know for sure that this is problem.
When he sat in the car with me, the noise was less when I turned right out of where I live but when I was solo the noise was worse again. We also tried it turning left but the noise does not occur as it never has done.
Finally as I promised, here are a few fotos that I took at Brooklands on Sunday when I met James May. I will post more fotos soon.
Anyway I am going to watch " The Bill " with Richard, if I stay awake, and then I am off to bed as I want all my energy and enthusiam back.
Night guys and happy motoring.
Paula
