...and the fanbelt decides to start slipping. Ho hum, I'll run it down to the garage tomorrow.

It won't be the fan belt, as there isn't a fan belt. It will be the accessory belt. Check and see if it's in fair condition. If it is, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I have the same problem at the moment, and I'm going to tighten the mechanical tensioner slightly and see if that gets rif of it.

I haven't got time to get under the bonnet so I'm going to run it down the road to where Danny works. He'll have it sorted in no time.
