3220 miles trip, cost n litres....
so i finally got all the filling slips..
i originally thought for 3000 miles.. the way i drive, 12 tank stops, 560 litres-ish.
i used an additive called MPG (i think) 10ml to every 40 liter fill.
i actually tanked 13 times (half tank full on return tho) for 3220 miles
bringing it 20 about 521 liters (minus the half tank, say 21l) taking it to about 500 liters used...
costing about 592 pounds (fuel is more expensive in france)
quite alot of country roads, towns and motorway, consistant speeds of 90 - 100 mph (motorways)
average mpg works out at 29.2!!!!
average cost a liter 1.07 pounds.
quite impressed as i was getting 24-25 driving at home, so i guess its the additive and the steady speed on the motorways thats helped... (or i miss calculated somewhere..)
