Service !

Ok my MX6 is coming up for a 72K service - It has Full Mazda Service History to date. Im told that this is a 24K service ( didnt know they existed thought it went 6,12,6,12 ... )

But wait for it - £315 notes

for a service !!! surley this is silly money.

So to the question -
Should i pay that much to keep the Full Mazda History ?
Does anyone know any good independants in the south ? and a rough price as to what they would charge ?
Has anyone used a Ford (yuk) garage for servicing afterall its the same lump as the probe ?

Not 100% sure but this may be a Cam Belt service.

Narh its not the Cambelt Service thats the 60K service which is ontop of a 12K service ( Done b4 i got the car ;-). This service replaces all the fuel filters, transmission fluid etc etc

But still unsure it is worth keeping mazda service history or to go to an independant.

For that money then I would go to a quality independant.

My car had a full Bently history until 90,000 then I went with a very good local garage.

Know any good independant places down south or in the Midlands;-) It seems like its a HUGE service ( Every filter and Fluid in the beast ) i have got the price down to £275 ( Still pricy me thinks - its like 10% of the cars value ) - oh anyone else using a Mazda garage ring around there not all the same ive been quoted prices varying by upto £100 !!

Right time to look for some independants - Anyone had good service from any ?

The guy I use is a small independant working out of RAF Fairford.

I am sure there will be a few good ones nearer to your doorstep.
