I had headers imported from someone on ebay from the states and it wasnt that bad. about 225 all in delivered but they arent stainless.
As for an MOT find a friendly tester and tell him you have a new engine fitted from a 1991 car. That way they cant test for the cat. Its what I do on mine!!! Kyle |

No idea - but it's certainly quicker than my old KL03 engine as the Boxster I see regularly on the way home will testify.
As for fuel, I've not noticed an increase in consumption with the KLZE - it's sometimes even better. ![]() Ken (PS - would be an idea to continue this in the Lounge and keep this clear for discussion on Kyles performance mods.) |

depends how much you have your foot down. My jspec will do as little as 100 miles to a tank but then that requires me to get it off the clock and stay there most of the time!!! I personally thought it was a little thirstier but only just.

compression ratio is 10:1 not 9.2:1. Heads are flowed better, No egr valve, Different ecu and vaf, different cams, different inlet manifold and thats about it. You can bolt all of this (including high compression pistons if you really wanted to) to a uk engine. Without the pistons it should get atleast 190bhp. Oh one last thing the fuel rail runs a higher fuel pressure apparently???!!!???

Yes.. Thomas Knight Turbos (TKT) they were geeting bad reviews on their turbo kits.. so chamged to doing S/C's instead.. dunno if they still do them..
Much easier to fit than a turbo, (no exhaust pipes to weld) No turbo lag, but less efficient.. John |

After destroying my clutch & flywheel last month I decided to try using an MX3 V6 flywheel as recommended. When I offered the new clutch up to the flywheel and turned it you could feel that it was catching on the bolts holding the flywheel on. I had to grind the outer edges of the bolts to get some clearance!
![]() Should I have used an MX3 clutch kit? I would have thought it wouldn't be up to the job? Just slightly worried... ![]() |
