leaks

I have noticed that there seem's to be a problem with water leaking in to MX6'S .
On my MX-6 the inside of the windscreen get absoultey soaking wet and the car is also prone to steaming up very badly .
Does anybody have any ideas whats causing this and any solutions.
Thanks

Sorry pskinner - Cant say as i either of my MX6's have had leaks - The most common is the Boot - Check out previous threads...

If it is leaking simply run your hand over your carpets inc the boot and find out if any are wet - thatll be a good place to start

Then get back to us and im sure we can point out some common issues which may be causeing your steaming up etc.

Regards

me too

i've been getting two leaks on mine too!! one from the boot under passenger side light and one under passengers feet in front! i havnt had time to sort it yet though! I'm hazarding a guess that the front one may be due to the cobra alarm fitted by previous owner, maybe he drilled through into front to fit the wiring from under the hood. Anyone got any ideas please let me know too...thanx Andy

..As far as the windscreen goes, I would check the black window trim..and silcone its perimeter .. that may help that part...
See below link for others in the UK and a link in there for what I did to solve some of my problem... Its a work in progress for many ..but should be worked on...- Good luck 'tho
