Did anyone see todays autocar mag? Had best sports cars for under £5000...

No mention of the 6! Even had Nissan Almera! I'd have been happier if there was a Probe, but not even that!

This is usual for the mags...

Don't let this put you off... far from it.. take this as our cars are something special. something rare.. not a common hyped up hatch, or a dog with a GTI badge on it..

You see lots of these running about, does your head turn?... no.. not even 2 degrees to the side, you pass them off just like any other car on the road.. and the mags rate them as the best thing since sliced bread. then again, when did you last believe what they write in them?

We here, all drive cars that stand out from the crowd, not the dull norm.. the mags say car "abc" is the best... everyone goes out and buys one just like sheep flocking in a corner..

I personally like being different, an individual. I drive what "I" know is a great car, I don't need a mag to tell me that.

The 6 is a great car from what i have found so far, it is distinctive, fun to drive and for the money a great deal. Many people seem to think the car is a lot more expensive than it is and are shocked to find out what you can pick them up for.

Like John said people always run to buy the safe option that the magazines recommend; it's nice to own something a little bit different particularly round here where there is a great variety of cars i have to share the road with.

Agreed. With only 5000 in the UK its good to be different.

But remeber this quote from BBC top Gear.

If you put some body kits from the US on the U.K. cars then every guy is going to be turning !!!

If you have the money....you could turn the MX-6 into some cindy crawford lookalike .......
