My lad said that I should put some mesh over the unsightly black hole on the front - so I did.
What do you think?

Nah.. not going down that route again... all I will say is that the black (or silver) mesh does indeed make a nice improvement...

Also something to consider if you have A/C fitted... incoming scud missiles... AKA stones, will damage the condensor, and they are expensive to replace, much more than a radiator..
