Thanks all for an excellent meet. Really nice to put some more faces to names and see old friends (and older faces...).
I've looked at my snaps, but apart from the ones of our group, not much was any good (apart from the Fast Car mag girl ). I'll put a couple up later, when this damn headache's gone.
Cheers all,
Ken
PS. Roland, 1 3/4 hours to get back - can you beat that?
At one point I thought i was`nt going to make it home, Doing about 70mph at a safe distance behind a Audi when he slams his brakes on. I had to dop the anchors big time, I end up with 2 wheels on the grass verge and about 3 inches from his rear bumper. It was then the Audi decides to put his right indidcator on. Not sure i can repeat what i called him.
PS. Roland, 1 3/4 hours to get back - can you beat that?

B) you will notice I gave you an 2 hour head start !!
C) 2 hrs here

Well guys, Thanks to all for another good meet. no doubt Dave will take the icing off the cake and frame it..
I set off at 4pm, expected to be back home at 6pm, but spent an extra hour and a half in a rather long queue on the M1 due to an accident I believe at jct 27?
Roland... what are you planning with my pic????

And a 7.41s 0-60 which was 100% additive free proves most mags talk b*ll*cks with their 8.2s.. quickest I heard for a std 626 GT is 7.2s
I'm pooped, off to bed.. work in the early morrow..

Was a great day out and it was greate to see everyone again. Next time must remember to leave enough time to get there without speeding!!!
I will most definatly be going next year.
As for the drive home. Well it was a lot slower than on the way down. Took me just under 3 hours to get back and upset mr policeman on the bridge when i locked up before he had chance to catch me doing the 3 figure mark.
A big thanks to everyone for another good turnout. It was probably the best turnout we could have asked for.
Kyle
