what colour is my mx6????

hi all!
bought my mx6 and not sure what colour it is!!!!!!
it looks black!
it looks blue!
the log book says GREEN!!!!!! which it does look in some lights!

i am very pleased with the car! it is a uk, totally standard and very well looked after!
needs some bigger wheels i feel!!

so what colour is it please?

Welcome, and the car looks all 3 colours, but seems to be more Blue!

Lift your bonnet up and look for the paint code somewhere on a sticker.
Post it here and someone ie: John has the paint codes.

did you get any original paperwork with the car ( by the way looks mint ) history or owners books should give you the paint code in these , if not there should be a plate on the car that give the code .

Where it would be located on your mx I'm unsure , but my Xedos its in the engine bay, get the code and check it out against these madza codes below

If the log book says its green its probably Nobel Green, from your photos i agree it looks like a navy blue ( but im not sure mazda made one ! )

Heres one from autotrader thats advertised as Noble Green...

The best way to be sure is to take your chassis number to Mazda - If its not been respayed then theyll have the exact match.

Yep, it's Noble Green Mica (11N).

The '96 MX6 came in 4 colours:
Classic Red (SU) like mine,
Silver Stone Metallic (3L)
Noble Green Mica (11N) and
Brilliant Black (PZ)

The green even looks blue in the Mazda brochure though.

It looks just like mine Noble green, but can't be mine as it dosn't seem to have all the "car park car door modifications" down the side panels !

that's exactly the same colour as mine, was told by a dealer that it's the noble mica green,

now i know the paint code perhaps i'll finally get that bonnet stone chip(s) fixed.

(double axle transit van picked up a rock between the two tyres and threw it at me coming up the M6, huge paint chip on the nose, second large chip on the trailing edge, took the enamel off the windscreen wiper arm and then went on to scratch the windscreen, meanwhile I was cowering in the footwell..git)

lurrvley colour for a 6.. never seen one.... all the ones round here are silver (like mine) or red (like ken's)..
