Temperature Gauge

I've just played football for an hour then sat in the pub for another hour and after driving away I noticed that the temp gauge was exactly where it was after normal running.

I would have expected it to cool down after 2+ hours of sitting still.

In the mornings it takes a normal time to warm up and the gauge sits just below half way and never wavers.

Does this sound normal?

BTW - A great road at half ten at night is the A421 from Milton Keynes to Buckingham. 90mph - 100mph all the way nice sweeping road.

Checked my tyre pressures after Karlharcourts problem and it has transformed the turn in balance through corners. A must when ever possible. - They were only 3-4 psi out but the difference is amazing.

James.

James

The temperature is pretty normal - it will cool a bit but its a large engine block so maintains alot of heat so takes ages to cool down ( Bear the in mind if you want to work on it after youve been driving )

Also as the gauge is analogue and only an indication it wont show a few degrees drop very well.
