Yup, that'll happen, loss of power as our ignitions are a bit weak (IMO and in my circumstances) but I haven't seen many plugs open up.
I had/have a (what seems like) a bad misfire and changed the plugs, I think they are gapped to something like 0.38 or something really small like that to see what difference it would make. Well it still misfires at low revs (I suppose it's harder to tell at higher revs) and I am starting to suspect the IAC or something like that.
Looked at my plugs and they show no sign of fouling although I was under the impression that the stronger spark would blow the crap off the terminals and fouling would happen on a bigger gap although I may be getting confused
I suspect that my un-tuned FPR is causing the biggest problems ATM though
