My mazdas dying

My Mazzy is dying, clutch slipping, running like a bag of cack, I think she has reached the end of the road so I need to buy a new motor--- so do I stick with the MX6(silly question to ask on this site) or do I go with another jap motor, just interested to see your opinions on if there is possibly a better motor out there. Got about 5k to spend
Si

You can get a lot of car for 5K

They will all have problems or things that could cost. maybe £500 or so on the mx6 could sort it and put a few extras on.

Andy will vouch for the Lexus Soarer (great car) some RX-7's can be got for that price but with them you do tend to get what you pay for.

For 1k more your looking at a Supra ???

decisions decisions decisions

)Would love an RX7 wouldn't say no to a Supra but have to say love the mx6. Mine needs a new cam belt, new ignition key as the one I have is broken in the barrell, have theoretically lost 15mph at top speed(wouldn't know as have never been there
what else- MOT up in ten days and have to say just doesn't sound healthy- more 1893 rather than 1993. Gutted

OK but

Cambelt/water pump £300 (OTT)
I have a full ignition block and key you can have.
Decent flush and Mobil 1 oil change £40
£100 on cold air induction setup
£160 on decent exhaust (Scorpion back box)

so for £600 ish you should have a top sounding motor.
Still not an RX7 but if they go wrong it will be more that above.

The Soarer 2.5 Twin Turbo is a Top motor though.
