How to change the Fuel Filter... ?

Ive still not got hold / ordered a haynes manual yet and am wondering how to change the fuel filter. Has anyone on here changed there own ? Any idea where it even is !

it's on the inside of the wing in the engine bay m8
where the VAF is just below and abck towards the wing look down and you will see it sitting upright if i remember right.
Should be a couple bolts one either end undo and replace m8. it sit just down the side of the strut tower.

G on bracket under the air intake area , best to remove your cai to get at it presume stock replacement rather the factors type inline jobby

G Make sure you relive the fuel pressue first.

Take your filler off and pull the fuel pump fuse (I'll have to look at which one it is) then start your engine till it dies.

Daves a big sissy LOL, just undo the bolt a little and relieve the preassure that way G,us scots drink Irn Bru none f this taking pipes off and stuff .

Think ill go for the unbolt slowly approach - With the pump off there cant be that much fuel in the lines anyway. Is there any need to bleed the line afterwards ? ( I guess not but just checking )

OK "but do it after its been sat a while" (overnight) as the mx6 runs with a positive fuel pressure setup so it WILL squirt if you just undo.

Just crank it after.

It squirts even after the engine has blown and it's been sat for two days - as I found out when I removed the FSE earlier.
